Grand Junction, Colorado

Overview:

Grand Junction is located on the Western Slope at the junction of the Colorado and Gunnison Rivers and is nicknamed the "River City". With a population of over fifty thousand, it is one of the larger cities on the Western slope.

Attractions:

This area offers the Colorado National Monument, vistas of canyons and mesas. It is a large mountain biking and hiking destination with dramatic red rock landscapes. Hailed as "Colorado's Wine County" there are close to 20 wineries to enjoy, as well as award winning golf courses to test your skill. Grand Junction is also home to Colorado Mesa University.
